Oval Mats

Indigo Frame & Mat also offers frame and mat combinations available with an oval-cut mat opening.  All frames are new and shrink wrapped for extra protection.  Our double Oval mats are acid-free/ ph-neutral, bevel cut with a white core that won’t yellow over time.  The mats have a rectangular outer dimension with an opening cut in an oval shape.  Our oval mats are packaged in a clear cellophane bag and made in the USA.

This traditional style mat is unique and not easy to find.  They are available in the following sizes:

• 5×7″ to fit a 3.5×5″ image
• 8×10″ to fit a 5×7″ image
• 11×14″ to fit an 8×10″ image

Please note – all mat openings are cut 1/2″ smaller than the image size that they are meant to fit.  The opening must be slightly smaller in order to affix the image to the back of the mat.
